Pleasanton Catering Company ("Pleasanton Catering Company," "we," "our," or "us") takes the handling of your personal information seriously. This policy describes, in plain language, what we collect when you browse this site, ask for a catering quote, place an order, sign in to your client portal, or trade messages with our team about a Tri-Valley event — and what we do and do not do with it.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to visitors and clients who reach us through this website, by phone, by text, or by email in connection with catering services we provide in Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, Danville, Sunol and the wider Tri-Valley. It does not govern the independent practices of the venues, planners, or vendors you may hire alongside us.

Information you give us directly

Most of what we hold is information you hand over on purpose so we can quote and execute an event:

• Your name, company or organization, email address and phone number
• Event details: date, guest count, delivery or venue address, gate and suite information, badge or check-in requirements, service style and timeline
• Menu preferences and dietary needs, including allergy and vegetarian counts you choose to share
• Billing details such as an accounts-payable contact, purchase order number, or a tax exemption certificate for a qualifying Alameda County school or nonprofit
• Notes, attachments and messages you send us through forms, the client portal, email or text

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every commercial website, ours records basic technical information as you browse: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view, and general region. If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we may text you about quotes, delivery windows, driver arrival and event-day logistics. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for assistance. Consent to texts is never a condition of buying catering from us.

When information is shared

We share only what is necessary, and only with:

• Service providers who help us operate — hosting, email delivery, text messaging, payment processing, scheduling, analytics and accounting
• Staff and contracted event personnel who need your access, timing and dietary details to execute your event
• Venues, planners or building management when they require vendor or delivery details to admit us
• Professional advisors, or authorities, where the law or the defense of a legal claim requires it
• A successor entity, if our business is ever transferred in whole or part

We do not sell your information

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of the word. Certain privacy statutes define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough to include some advertising cookie or analytics activity; where a law grants you the right to opt out of that activity, you may exercise it by contacting us at the address below.

Your California rights

How long we keep information

Quote and event records are kept as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy tax, accounting and legal-retention obligations. Inquiry records that never become events are kept for a shorter period. Marketing contacts are removed on request.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send full card numbers, bank logins or other highly sensitive material by ordinary email or text.

Children

Our services are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
